    On November 3 and 4, Ambassador of France to the U.S. Gérard Araud headed south for his first official visit to Florida on the occasion of French Weeks Miami, organized by the French-American Chamber of Commerce (FACC) of Miami and the Consulate General of France in Miami.

    “French Weeks Miami” opened up business opportunities and networking events from October 23th to November 13th 2014.     At the University of Miami, the Consul General of France, Mr. Philippe Létrilliart, awarded the insignias of “Chevalier de l’Ordre National de la Légion d’Honneur” to three U.S. veterans who fought alongside France during World War II.

  • Art Exhibit casts light upon Varian Fry, an American journalist and WWII hero

    Villa Air-Bel in the Southeast of France had great tenants: André Breton, Jacqueline Lamba, Max Ernst, Marc Chagall or Marcel Duchamp. Thanks to Varian Fry, who was a recognized a “Juste”, it was above all a haven for many “Surrealists”.
