Mr. Mark Sherringham’s visit to Miami [fr]

Mr. Mark Sherringham, General Inspector of the French National Education, cultural attaché, and Head of the French Schools Department at the French Embassy, completed a two-day mission in Miami, September 21st and 22nd, to meet educational partners and local school authorities.

On the first day of his visit, Mr. Sherringham spoke with Chief Academic Officer of Miami Dade County, Mrs. Marie Izquierdo, and other educational authorities from Miami Dade County Public Schools.

He also met with the President of the French International Program Association (FIPA), Mr. Roger Pardo, as well as other members of this parents’ association.

Mark Sherringham had the opportunity of meeting several teachers from the International Studies program during the award ceremony of the Academic Palms to Mrs Muriel Molinier.

The next day, Mr. Sherringham went to the French-American School’s North campus, which recently opened its doors in Miami Shores.

Lastly, Mr. Sherringham met with consular advisors from Florida: Mrs. Nicole Hirsch, Mr. Xavier Capdeville, Mr. Jacques Brion, and Mr. Franck Bondrille, to discuss the present school situation.
