And for June 6th, the association organizes with the French Embassy in Washington and the Consulate General of France in New York, a major event commemorating the D-day.

It will take place around the Statue of Liberty, the very symbol of Franco-American friendship and the shared values of the United States and France.

In the presence of two ships of the French Navy near the Liberty Island, a French military helicopter will release 1 million rose petals over the Statue of Liberty to honor Americans who died for France.
Large French and American Flags will also be deployed at the foot of the Statue in the presence of many veterans.
