“A Very French Month” at MCB [fr]

Miami Beach Cinematheque launches “A Very French Month”, including several retrospectives of different French renowned films taking place in November 2013.

On the occasion of “French Weeks Miami”, the Miami Beach Cinematheque invites you to immerse yourself in a cinematographic adventure where you will be able to see the work of French renowned filmmakers such as twenty-first-century essayist Chris Marker, Bruno Dumont, acclaimed director Claire Denis and Agnès Godard.

Miami Premiere Engagement of the HD digital restoration of “La Jetée” by Chris Marker, one of the most influential, radical science-fiction films ever made, and “The Life and Freaky Times of Uncle Luke” by Lucas Leyva and Jillian Mayer, a modern Miami adaptation of the French short film La Jetée.
