Eleven WWII Veterans recognized on May 5th by France in Fort Lauderdale
Consul General, Mr. Gaël de Maisonneuve, will award, the insignias of “Chevalier dans l’Ordre National de la Légion d’Honneur” (Knight in the National Order of the Legion of Honor”*) to eleven U.S. veterans who fought alongside France during World War II in a ceremony which will serve as a link between the past, present and future generations.
The present generation will be represented by US Naval Academy Appointments Class of 2017 and the future generation will be represented by the Young Patriots.
