Snap! Orlando, in its 4th year, is a large scale photography event with exhibits, projections, salon talks, guest speakers lectures, workshops, competitions and community engagement.
Snap! 2013 “Motion to Light” features works of more than 25 international photographers from May 2nd to May 5th, 2013.

The 4 day event includes exhibitions, lectures, workshops, and fantastic events such as the interactive fashion shootout and installations by Fused Fashion.

This year’s line up includes three French photographers:

Nicolas Senegas: Born in 1983 in Castres, France, Nicolas Sénégas studied anthropology and photography. Early on, he developed a passion for studying humans, in their physical and aesthetical dimensions, but also in their approach to spirituality, rites, customs, desires and fears. Nicolas Senegas will be present at Snap!

Cedric Arnold: Cedric Arnold is a French documentary photographer based in Bangkok, Thailand. Having lived in SE Asia for many years, Arnold was always intrigued by beliefs in magic in the region. His powerful, yet sensitive portraits present a mystical subculture through its rituals, and symbols.

Olivier Valsecchi: Snap! presents the US premiere of “Time of War,” a series inspired by Chaos, Ash Wednesday and Mantra of Light. It is the second chapter of the “I am Dust” project, an autobiographical body of work about incarnation and Samsara (cycle of birth, life, death and rebirth). Olivier Valsecchi will be present at Snap!
