The 32nd annual gala, entitled "France Meets Florida 1562-2012: A Celebration of French Culture in Florida," will consist of silent and live auctions, music and dancing, visitation to the museum and grounds.
Twenty local restaurants will present their signature dishes and there will be open bar.

Proceeds from the Annual Gala are expected to cover approximately one third of the educational programs and operational needs of the Historical Society at the Beaches Museum & History Park.

This organization was founded in 1978 by a group of longtime local residents and is the only one dedicated solely to preserving the history and heritage of Florida’s First Coast beach communities including Mayport, Atlantic Beach, Neptune Beach, Jacksonville Beach, Ponte Vedra Beach, and historic Palm Valley.
