The Miami Nice Jazz Festival is an extension of the internationally celebrated Nice France Jazz Festival, and one of the largest and most significant jazz events of its kind in Europe, is scheduled to take place for the first time in The United States this fall.

In collaboration with the Modern Languages Department, Le Cercle Francais/Pi Delta Phi, the Astronomy Club, the Council for Students Organizations (CSO), the Frost Art Museum, the Consulate General of France, the France Florida Foundation for the Arts, Red Chemistry, Inc., The French American Chamber of Commerce of Florida, the MEUCE will be organizing different events at FIU.

Five aging friends decide to move in together in Stéphane Robelin’s crowd-pleasing comedy, starring Jane Fonda (in her first French-language film since Godard’s 1972’s TOUT VA BIEN), Geraldine Chaplin, and Claude Rich. Comfortably retired, they hire a handsome graduate student as a live-in caretaker and rediscover the joys of "communal" living — but when old secrets and long-simmering jealousies emerge, discord among the group begins to grow.
