First French-American Chamber of Commerce Job Fair
If you were at the Conrad Miami Hotel on August 16, you must have noticed the people in professional attire and CV in hands convened at the Atrio, seeking professional success.
Indeed, only a few days after the start of classes in Florida, the French-American Chamber of Commerce developed the first career exhibition open to businesses operating locally. This initiative is itself a continuation of the employment services that FACC Florida has managed and coordinated for several years.
Numerous candidates came to meet with the dozen or so small, medium, and large companies from various sectors (Wells Fargo, AXA, Aero Maintenance Group, Club Med, Jade Associates, ASG Capital, Blackdivine, Accur Recruiting Services, Prestashop, Normandy Print et ITC Global Translation) that responded to the invitation.
In this room, overlooking Biscayne Bay, individuals with various backgrounds and expectations met. Young students looking for their first job stood alongside experienced professionals seeking new opportunities.
However, they all shared one thing in common : a great motivation.
Thanks to this exhibition, they were able to verbally describe their careers as well as their interests in dozens of open positions presented by the attending companies, whether it be full-time, part-time or internships.
This was a great opportunity to meet face-to-face with different recruiters on the same day, a great way to convince!
This first platform “FACC Job Fair,” appreciated by both professionals and candidates, will be followed by a second edition in the fall of 2012. You can already find more information and register.
