Ask for a Chateaubriand fellowship program

GIFThe Chateaubriand Fellowship is a grant offered by the Embassy of France in the United States. Every year, it allows doctorate students enrolled in American universities to conduct research in France for up to 10 months. Registrations are open.

It is intended for young American scientists at the doctoral level, wishing to conduct their research in a French laboratory for a 4 to 10 month period.

The program has two components, the component STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics - Deadline Feb. 1st, 2012) and component HSS (Humanities & Social Sciences - Deadline Dec. 31st, 2011), both accessible from the home page joint program.
