e-Toile: The Crêpe Bistro, located in South Miami is involved in "French Spice," organized by the French American Chamber of Commerce of Florida (FACC). How do you participate in this process of promoting French cuisine in South Florida?
Diane Roos: By offering menus attractive prices ($15 for lunch and $25 at night), including specialties such as Beef Bourguignon, salad, foie gras, quiche chavignol and, of course, our crêpes.
e-Toile: Crêpe is one of the most popular recipes in France, for adults as well as for kids. Has it been welladopted by Floridians?
Diane Roos: Yes very much, they love crêpes, salty or sweet. Many of our crêpes are made with buckwheat flour and at lunch time, are good alternatives to a sandwich.
The sweet crêpe is a classic dessert has long been in the United States. We have adapted them and one of our best sellers is the Rocky Road: a crêpe with Nutella and marshmallow fluff.
